Challenges are a new gameplay feature introduced in Tomb Raider. They are a small challenging tasks Lara must perform to gain extra experience points. I enjoyed it back in 2013 for the Uncharted clone that it is, but I absolutely hated the nonstop barrage for QTEs and thought it was a terrible Tomb Raider game. Personally, I think the whole reboot trilogy isn’t Tomb Raider at all, and the fact they had three full games and couldn’t make the new Lara an interesting character is pretty damning.
